An aromatic copper-coloured pale ale brewed with Kentish Fuggles and Goldings hops for a refreshing taste and a fruity finish.

Cask at the Padwell Arms, Sevenoaks. Pale amber pour. There is a lot of fruit and some soft peppery character. There is a touch of herbal/ spicy hops. Here is a bit of soft sweetness trough the middle as well. Persistent bitterness. Quite moreish. A pretty nicely balanced ale. Lovely.

Thin aroma of biscuity malt, fruity notes, mild hops. Flavour is light sweet and light tart with a moderate dry bitter finish. A bit on the watery side, but nicely carbonated. Didn’t expect this to be slightly tart.

500ml bottle: found in a local Wye Vale garden centre. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 1st Nov 2014. Amber/copper body with a white, thin head. Hoppy lead in both the nose and taste, semi-bitter and refreshing but it lacks true oomph or character to set it apart from other such brews.

Cask at Falcon as ’Skrimshander IPA’. Lost some of my notes due to having a shit phone. Hazy dark orange, still, small white head, sparse lacing. Aroma is very light with some card. Body is light, smooth, touch of carbonation. Taste is dirty water, paper, thin, some astringency, slightly earthy. Not great.

Clear gold beer with a creamy head and light citrus aroma. Flavour is surprisingly earthy with light floral fruity hop coming after. Unspectacular but very drinkable.

Cask at The Haymarket. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas are light biscuit, light lemon and floral notes. Taste brings a lightly spicy note, but otherwise sweet. Thin finish. OK.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Classic one with a few hops, some citrus fruits and more sweetish ones towards the end. Bit skunky finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle brought home from England. Pours out in a clear golden-amber colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of fresh hops and spices. Taste of fresh hops, light barley, oak, light malt, pine, flowers, grapefruit and straw. Aromatic and tasty beer - enjoyed it.

Bottle from Asda. Aroma has a slightly ’burnt’ note. Quite fruity hop flavour - more strawberry than tropical fruit. Fairly carbonated.

Bottle, best before January 2016? Clear copper with a medium sized diminishing off white head. Light berries, white cheese and dried green plants, light brewmash, earthy. Medium body, oily texture, medium/high carbonation, light/medium sweet and bitter. Light dry and bitter finish. Not too bad, but too high carbonation and a bit homebrewish.
