Bottle. Pours cloudy orange dull gold with big soapy off white head. Great lace and big retention. Spicy pepper and fruity yeast notes balanced with a citrus and evergreen hop aroma. Medium light body, generous bitterness, zesty carbonation finishing peppery and hoppy, resinous

Bottle from Carwyn Cellars. The bottlecap violently popped off the bottle and shot into the roof upon opening. I tried to pour it into a glass, but the beer:foam ratio was approximately 1:5. Had a sip, unbelievably sour. Must have been an infected bottle or batch, which is rather disappointing. Had to be poured down the drain. Such a shame as I was looking forward to it. I would love to try it as it should be so I could review it properly

Dark amber/orange, frothy off-white head, peach, apricot, grapefruit, citrus, balanced with some spicy Belgian character and rich caramel malt, full body, thick texture, lasting dry bitter finish. Excellent!

From a 330ml bottle. Hazy orange pour with a substantial foamy white head. It’s got plenty of hoppy stonefruity and orangey notes on the nose and tongue but the main distinguishing feature is the soft spicy dryness imparted by the use of Belgian yeasts. Finishes dry with a lingering bitterness. Not much malt profile. Medium bodied and quite lively on the palate. Very enjoyable.

Really impressive beer. The balance between the refreshing Belgian yeast characteristics and the slightly fruity hops is phenomenal. Very enjoyable and easy to drink for the abv. I reckon this is underrated and one of my new favourites in this style. Great work HopDog.

KeefOz (1079) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - OCT 7, 2014
Poured a clouded amber colour with a one-finger white frothy head that retained very well with sudsy lacing. Carbonation low and fine. Aroma nicely of subtle sweet citrus and a hint of yeast. Taste subtle citrus hops and earthy malts. Light to medium body. Finishes dry with a lingering moderate level of nice bitterness. Quite nice.

On tap at Scratch Bar 120714. Pale lemon rind yellow in colour with a soft white head that collapses quickly. Amongst the hops there are some fruit flavours, peach and nectarine.

Thick fluffy white head and a light amber slightly hazy beer. Slightly sour apricots, bubble gum, coriander, little caramel and strong Belgium yeast notes. A little tart, nice caramels, cinnamon spices and a little bready. Some hints of pine and a touch floral. The finish is tart and bitter, buttery dough and biscuits in the malts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
