3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 8C. Hazy golden amber with a modest white head. Aroma of hay, lemon, cloves. Light bodied. Hay, tangy wheat, some apricot, rather prominent cloves in a dry and fairly bitter finish. Hits the spot on a hot night.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a 330ml bottle on 24/1/2015. Pours a very cloudy golden with a small to medium head. Has a slight yeasty aroma with a hint of fruit. Taste wise, it delivers biscuity malt, some sweet citrus fruit, lots of Belgian yeast, and a firm, very dry, satisfying, slightly puckering bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This is a very refreshing, quite distinctive brew which would make a fine thirst quencher on a hot summer’s day.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle. Clear orange appearance with a medium sized white head. Nose offers mildly spicy yeasts on a light pale malt bill and mild citrus hops. Palate is light and refreshing with a medium sweet and fruity flavour profile and a lovely dry finish with low bitterness. Does exactly what it says on the box!

Bottle from Plonk (old rating from couple of years ago). Pale amber/gold, some candy sweetness, Belgian yeast characters, a bit spicy, very drinkable. Nice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours clear hazed pale gold with big off white head and excellent lace. Aromas of cloves, banana, grain, lightly sweet and aromatic malt and light floral notes. Light medium body, doughy yeast, banana notes, lightly clove and grain rounding out the dry finish. Med high carbonation and lingering graininess.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Almost clear golden body with lasting white head. A little spicey in the taste with not a lot else going on, easy drinking, simple, what I expect from a belgian pale ale.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Cloudy orange pour with a big fluffy white head that quickly disappears. Loads of cloves and spice on the nose. Nothing meshes together very well. Almost minty. Very over carbonated. Banana and spices mingle around but the excess carbonation cuts off anything else. Not great

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
(on tap at the brewery) This was the biggest surprise for me. Poured a golden straw colour with thick foamy head. Slightly sour yeast aroma combined with some sweater dark plum and other flavours. Mouthfeel was smooth and finish reasonably dry. If this is what I should drink after mowing the lawn, then I need to mow more often!

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
A limited special from Hopdog Beerworks. The Belgian lawn mower features a sweetish aroma reminiscent of Belgian wit beers. Its appearance is honey golden and cloudly due to being unfiltered. the beer is of light to medium body and has a sweet flavour followed by a lightly dry although not astringent aftertaste. Overall it is a pleasant summer sipper.
