Grovlam (4154) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 10, 2007
Bottle @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Head was average frothy and white. Mostly diminishing with spare lacing. Clear body with a golden color. Aroma was light yeasty, pineapple, spice, fruity. Light sourness in mouth. Light to medium bodied, with a light sweet and acidic flavor. Dry and acidic finish. Noting spectacular Triple.

Bottled. Light goldden coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Light yeast, light spice and light fruits in the aroma. Flavour is spiced and fruity. Again spices are notable. A bit bland. Light bodied. Is quite acidic and dry in the end. Quite refreshing but a bit too bland for my likings.

ogivlado (5740) - Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 21, 2006
Bottled(330ml). –Shared with Doggythedog at the Hopdevil in Zagreb
Clear yellow coloured before yeast sediment came in, after sediment hazy golden, medium white head, fruity nose, lively carbonation. Aroma is yeasty and lemony with notes of coriander and few spicy hints. Strong sourness in the finish.

Marko (3947) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 14, 2006
Bottle shared at the Hopduvel in Zagreb with ozujsko.
At first it poured a clear pale yellow/golden colour with extremely lively carbonation, fizzy even, with a beautiful, thick, creamy white big head that went away slowly and was the only thing about it that didn’t look like a fizzy North American macro. On the second pour, the yeast came in, and it turned out to be a completely opaque yellow. Smells... like a kriek (!?!?!?). Yeast (brett, I’m positive), some fruitiness and some spit (yes, spit). Taste... this is definitely infected. Gueuze like sour yeasty taste, hints of white wine, tahini halva aftertaste. Tastes like a below average gueuze, nothing like a tripel. The second, yeasty pour tamed the sourness a bit, but it was still present. I’ll try this again, but don’t know when. I just hope that this wasn’t what it was intended to be.

Hansen (6691) - Assentoft, DENMARK - SEP 2, 2006
Orange, unclear beer. White head, not lasting. Sour aroma, oak, wood. Flavor has the same sourness, and some clear sweetness too. The 8% abv isn’t present.

Citrussy and malty triple, but much lighter than various other tripels. Still very decent.

On tap at Brouwer’s, Seattle. Didn’t get much more than a sip of this one, but I liked it. Flavor had Belgian yeast, with some nice fruity sweetness to it. I’d try it again.

Bottle. Hazy golden orange colour with a medium white head. Yeasty, fruity, spicy aroma and a sweet, fruity, spicy taste. Medium body with a sweet sparkeling finish.

MesandSim (7119) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2006
A Mes rate: 33cl bottle that Sim returned from Belgium with. Good tripel like aroma. Lots of hops with a little cream and spice plus some delicate lemon and vanilla. But it is just too mellow for me. A hazy pils like body but topped with a glorious head which I was convinced would never last when I poured it. 10 minutes later it has hardly budged at all. Flavour almost perfectly echoes the nose but it is just let down by a creeping metalic finish. Mouth feel is ok. In fact its all ok... but nothing more.
