2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
0.33l bottle. Pours enormous head (whole glass with no body at first!) which diminishes quite soon and murky yellow body. Aroma is sour with pine hops...vinegar... Flavor is still quite sour, citrus and other acidic things present. It has oily texture and not much carbonation, with, again, sour finish. As of BB 25/07/09 I assume it was not bad bottle, just it’s not my type. Really different than other triples... Interesting and not so bad...but I don’t think to buy it again.

Yellow orange beer with a huge head. A lot of carbonation. One can even hear the CO2 bubbles coming up at the surface. A bit sourish aroma. Also yeasty and some malty sweetness popping up. Nice bitter taste. A bit tinkling on the tongue. A bit yeasty and some spicy notes. Medium bodied.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330 ml bottle. Tree finger snowy white head... disappearing in seconds. Body is misty pale yellow with an extremely lively carbonation. Acidic fruit aroma. Smells like a dry cider with some notes of banana and mild spices. Taste is quite yeasty. Also both sweet and acidulous. Pale malts, yellow fruits and spice is prominent. Alcohol is well hidden. Thin-bodied for the style. Very easy to drink, very quenching... and a very unusual Tripel .
