Pours deep golden with white, quickly dissipating head. Sweet aroma. At first sip it has that unmistakeable Belgian flavour, but unfortunately that quickly gives way to a chemical aftertaste. Not pleasant.

Gentse tripel bottle at Hop Duvel, Ghent. Pours a light gold with a bready fruity aroma with candyish spiciness. 8% highly carbonation with a pinprick mouthfeel. Alcohol heat going down on a tangy bready fruity spice flavor that isn’t as nice as the nose.

330 ml. bottle. Purchased @ De Hopduvel. BBF 25.05.2017. Sparkling clear golden, fizzing way, egg-white head. Nose is odd, very big sweet cheap apple juice, artificial sweetener, light ester, cheap honey sweetness, white sugar, strongly sweet, tad industrial-like,… Taste is basic sweet apple juice, big macro sweetness, odd big artificial sweetened, cooked apple, cooked vegetables, very sweet & in an odd artificial way, artificial orange, esters, yeast, faint grain, near alcohol,… Artificial-like, faintly oily body,… I don’t get why this is so weirdly artificial very sweet apple juice-like. It is almost macro alcopop-like. I sort of oddly like it in that aspect even though it is far too industrial tasting for me. Weird, a good drink for macro drinkes probably or people who only drink mainstream tripels.

Pours a thick orange glass of beer. Nothing out of the ordinary, rather conventional Tripel.

Extraordinariamente espumosa y burbujeante. Pajiza turbia. Aroma algo rancio. Sabor lupulado pero poco agradable y tono aguado. He leído buenas criticas. ¿Estaría mal? Tendré que probarla de nuevo. Decepcionante tripel.

Une triple classique au nez houblonné et fruitée et à la bouche ronde et équilibrée. Raffraîchissante et équilibrée.

33 cl. bottle @ home. Golden yellow beer with nice white, foamy head. Malty aroma, taste is light bitter, too little for my taste.

Bottle, 330 ml. Pours yellowy amber and clear. Minimal head and lacing. Bright and fresh on the nose with malty honey as the primary note, backed up with a bit of cut grass and pineapple and maybe a tiny hint of lemon in there as well. Alcohol is readily apparent too. Simple and pleasant. Taste is primarily bread and a hefty dose of yeast, with the sweeter honey and caramel notes being pushed to the back and far less prominent. Finish is long and sticky with persistent yeasty notes lingering. Bit bland and disappointing taste-wise, though by no means offensive. Nice on the palate however, with a body approaching full and a decent carbonation kick. Overall not a great example of the style.

Nevelig, goudblond bier met ’vies’ witte schuimkraag. Licht zuur, licht bitter en licht zoet. Aroma van gist, brood, zure appels. Medium tot volle body, neutraal co2.
