Bought a bottle at Bert’s Bierhuis. The beer has honey blonde color and a nice large white head, CO2 level is excellent. In the aroma tones of yeast, fruits and some herbs. it has a very nice hop taste with hints of bananas, pinapple and more fruits. The finish is smooth and soft and has a little dryness. Overall, a like it, but Belgium has better tripels.

From a bottle poured in company glassware. Flavor is sweet and very well balanced. Very good but not outstanding tripel. Sweet, but not too sweet.

Commissioned for De Hopduvel in Ghent, with dense and thick, cream white head and hazy golden blonde colour. Aroma restrained fruitiness, sweetish malts, yeasty and a bit spicy, grassy hops; taste dryish, bit fruity, malt sweetness, yeasty, mild hop bitterness in the finish. Rather boring tripel.

0.33L bottle. Pours next yellow with a rocky error head. Nice, sweet aroma. Bubblegum, coriander seed, anice. Not much flavor, though. Almost immediately goes to a bitter and sour flavor, with a mild above flavor throughout. Light body with a thin mouthfeel and very active carbonation. Overall a bit disappointing. Really nice aroma, but that’s about it.

Bottle. Nice light golden pour, slightly hazy. Aromas of bread, bananas, turkish fruit, even some hints of tobacco. First taste is liquorice, develops into a pale soda taste due to carbonation. Very gentle sourness at the end. Aftertaste is a little sticky, dried banana taste. Very light triple.
