Oct 15, 2008 Pours opaque brown with a thick, foamy, rocky off-white head. Metallic wheat aroma, with only a small amount of clove and bubblegum. Sour wheat taste at first, but after 2-3 pulls, it gets a nice cereal taste with a good amount of banana. I’ve had better, but this is not that bad.

Sep 16, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a huge, tan and creamy head. Mild breadish and wheaty aroma. Flavour is breadish and light acidic estery. Mild banana note coming through the roasted malt and breadish base flavour. Mild acidic and yesty into the finish. Light bitterness too.

does not count  Sep 12, 2008 Pours choclolaty brown, not much head. looks good in the glass but doesn’t have much flavor or aroma. too mild for my tastes. good with food as it won’t overpower any flavors in the food.

Jul 14, 2008 It was okay. Not something I will buy on a regular basis. I tried it because the Helle Weiss is one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Decent color, aroma was middle of the road. Did not live up to the Hopf name.
