Aroma - Heavily banana. Appearance is darker than I would expect from a dunkel, with a creamy light head. The flavor is again heavily banana, with a background burnt or smokyness. The body is too thin for the liking. Pretty much one-dimensional. Finish is still mostly banana/

Hopf Dunkle Weisse has an extremely thick, foamy, beige head, a hazy, lighter brown appearance, with bubble streams, and heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of spicy, brown bread, and the flavor is of the same, with underlying tap water and low bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Hopf Dunkle Weisse finishes semi-dry and dull. RJT

Etwas wässerig, Malzbote harmoniert nicht mit typischem Weizenbier Geschmack. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Toasted wheat abounds in here with further notes of banana, brown sugar and caramel. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet with light dry bread and caramelised sugars. Decent.
