Bottled (Beerangel, BB 11/2009). Hazy yellow color, good cloudy white head. Banana candy and citrus aroma. Sweetish, candy like banana flavor with light spices. More Belgian Wit than German one, although quite sweet. Smooth, good brew but too one-dimensional for my liking.

from beerangel.de - pale blond-orange colour, little white foam; aroma of grapefruit and corn, good malt body, fizzy and sweet, highly carbonated; long sweetish aftertaste of ripe fruits

rosenbergh (6104) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 1, 2009
UPDATED: APR 16, 2010 330 ml bottle. From Germany. (HHOK). Hazy orange colour with medium head. Sweet toffee/caramel, fudge, vanilla, fruits and baked banana in aroma. Quite carbonated. Fruity, sweet caramel flavour, which is some kind of mixture of German Hefeweizen and Belgian Witbier. Refreshing and light to drink. This is good.

Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a cloudy yellow. Aromas of orange and spice. Flavor has too much orange, I didn’t care for this beer at all. White beers aren’t high on my list. Style says German Hefe, but it’s a Belgian Wit.

Bottle, poured into a tumbler. Apears bright yellow, hazy with a nice white head that starts to fade but laces to the end. The second I opened to bottle I smelled the wonderfull aromas of this beer. Lemon, orange, banana and yeast, just lovely. First the high carbonation hits the top of the mouth and fades to a fairly creamy hefe. Wonderful sourness on the side of the mouth that is balanced with light bitterness. The finish is lingering and full of citrus. This is an easy to drink hefe and its lightness adds to its drinkability. Im glad I got a few of these, it really is that good.

Embrouille (2803) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 29, 2008
Bottled 33cl. It pours a pale orange beer with a white head - poor head retention. The nose is mainly of banana. Some apricot and carrot sneaking in. Grainy. Slightly acidic taste. Yeasty. Some hints of marmite sneaking in. Decent body. A faint of olive oil in the finish. Average.

RB DE #1100: 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a huge, white and creamy head. Mild spiced and banana fruity aroma. Fruity banana and bubblegum in the initial flavour. Sweet. Goes into a somewhat off bakery yeasty flavour. Yeasty and wheaty finish. Lingering fruity touch into the far finish.

ogivlado (5402) - Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 31, 2008
Bottled(330ml). -The label is much better than the beer. Slight darker than Hoegaarden, dusty fruity nose. Rather ordinary weizen, light wheaty, yeasty and fruity with citrusy finish.

Interesting bottle. Looks good and exotic. Smells really good, very fruity. Flavor the same. Well done!
