COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Typical in its wheat beer aroma, this classic wheat beer has a slightly fruity taste, is golden yellow in colour and a light yeast haze, topped by a fine head. Its unique character is thanks to Hopf’s own pure yeast culture.

Shared a 50cl bottle. Pours a pale orangish yellow colour with fluffy white head. Aroma is yeast, bread, light spicy and lemon peel. Not too much banana. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is light sweet and light bitter, with a dry finish. Overall, a refreshing but not remarkable beer.

Helles, goldgelbes Weißbier, relativ süßlich im Geschmack, leichte Fruchtnoten. Kohlensäure genau richtig, schöner Abgang, süßlich ohne bittere. Rundes Weißbier!

[5185-20130405] Tap. Yeasty lemon bread aroma. Hazy, orange yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Yeasty bread and lemon peel flavour has a long aftertaste. Medium body. Tasty. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Train rating on Bamberg Jolly day 1 24/1/14. Aroma is clean banana yeast esters. Flavour is citric acid with some sharp acid lemon and orange. Bready and dough malt really pop. Yellow golden, clouded with a lasting white frothy head. Palate is milky.

Bottle 500 ml at home, into a weizen glass. ABV 5.3% Clear body, light golden orange in colour, with a huge white head, thick, with very good retention. Medium lacing on the glass. Aroma of bananas, bubblegum, wheat, Nice taste, what one expects from a hefeweizen, lots of bananas, bubblegum especially on the aftertaste and quite a bit of clove on the finish. Medium body, carbonation on the right levels. Overall pretty decent and honest, and very drinkable.
