Typical in its wheat beer aroma, this classic wheat beer has a slightly fruity taste, is golden yellow in colour and a light yeast haze, topped by a fine head. Its unique character is thanks to Hopf’s own pure yeast culture.

Bottle 500 ml at home, into a weizen glass. ABV 5.3% Clear body, light golden orange in colour, with a huge white head, thick, with very good retention. Medium lacing on the glass. Aroma of bananas, bubblegum, wheat, Nice taste, what one expects from a hefeweizen, lots of bananas, bubblegum especially on the aftertaste and quite a bit of clove on the finish. Medium body, carbonation on the right levels. Overall pretty decent and honest, and very drinkable.

500ml bottle from Bierzwerg@home. Hazy yellowish orange appearance with foamy white head. Aroma has wheat and banana with some bubblegum and citrus. Taste is lightly sour and sweet. Palate is oily with fizzy carbonation. Quite typical German Hefe with some citrussy notes. Not one the best in the category but quite nice.

Bottle @ home, ordered from Craftshack. There was a massive amount of sludge near the lip of the bottle. Pours a milky light yellow orange appearance with a nice, creamy white head. Quite bready and spicy yeasty, lime, lemon, light bubblegum aroma. Somewhat metallic, dull bready yeasty, chewy malty, wheat, lemon, banana, herbal flavor with a touch of tartness and light oxidization on the finish. Not drink by date on the bottle but this tastes pretty dated.
