COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Typical in its wheat beer aroma, this classic wheat beer has a slightly fruity taste, is golden yellow in colour and a light yeast haze, topped by a fine head. Its unique character is thanks to Hopf’s own pure yeast culture.

Bottle. Big spicy aroma hit at first. Pours cloudy yellow -- not too enticing, although the head is thick and clean white. Found it thin rather than refreshing.

glennmastrange (2208) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Tap. Light grain for the malt, light to moderate lemon for the hops, light to moderate dough for the yeast, with hints of clove and banana. Head is large, frothy, white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is pale murky yellow. Flavor starts lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and faintly bitter. Palate is light, watery with a lively carbonation. A light and refreshing German Hefeweizen.

Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy nice golden with medium white head. Aroma is light banana, medium body, medium carbonation, and good lacing. Taste is banana, some clove, a little bread, and bubblegum. Bottle may have been a little old, if so this held up pretty well.

Shared a 50cl bottle. Pours a pale orangish yellow colour with fluffy white head. Aroma is yeast, bread, light spicy and lemon peel. Not too much banana. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is light sweet and light bitter, with a dry finish. Overall, a refreshing but not remarkable beer.

Helles, goldgelbes Weißbier, relativ süßlich im Geschmack, leichte Fruchtnoten. Kohlensäure genau richtig, schöner Abgang, süßlich ohne bittere. Rundes Weißbier!

[5185-20130405] Tap. Yeasty lemon bread aroma. Hazy, orange yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Yeasty bread and lemon peel flavour has a long aftertaste. Medium body. Tasty. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4
