Gratula!!!

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, flowers, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, hoppy, tropical fruit, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140524]

Jun ’14. A 0.5 l bottle kindly shared by the Slovakian RB crew, thanks! It poured hazy darker amber body with small head. Citrus hop in aroma, especially orange note was strong but not dominating. Caramel, biscuit and other toasted malt were overwhelming. Flavor was malty as well, balanced with hops although still pretty sweet. Medium to full in body with longer, sweetish and herbal bitter finish now. Alcohol was evident quite a lot, but it was really a nice brew anyway.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Cuso. Look: deep copper, clear with a thin sediment. Smallish off-white head. Aroma: light hops, just enough to offset the rich maltiness, rich mats, caramel, biscuit, a tad of ethanol. Taste: again rich maltiness, caramel, solid body, not much hop flavour, alcohol and a harsh bitter finish.

With its solid malt base, alcohol and not much hops, it drinks more like a strong ale than a DIPA.

330ml bottle, thanks to Cuso! Pours murky brown with thin cream head with an earthy caramel pine aroma. Taste is deliciously slick resin, pine, caramel and bucketloads of hops. A very good DIPA.

Spicy and herbal aroma, malt, oranges, grapefruit. Sweet with a bitter undertone and a long lasting bitter finish, some alcohol. Tasty and excellent.

Bottle, 0.33, courtesy of Maurizio. Clear deep amber color with small creamy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, biscuits, dried fruits, resin and herbal hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel, follows herbal and fruity with warming, spicy, alcoholic mouthfeel and heavy bitter finish with long aftertaste. Full body, syrupy texture and average carbonation in palate. Hoppy like hell, but I still miss tropical fruits aromas...

33cl bottle @ home, gift from Csak a Jó Sör - Only Good Beer, Budapest, many thanks! Hazy amber color, small creamy beige mostly diminishing fair lacing head. Aroma apple, caramel, citrus in the nose, roasty, slightly coffeeish, licorice, herbs, tons of hops, alcohol is noticable. Taste light sweetness, heavy quinine bitterness, light fruity sourness. Full body, thick texture, soft carbonation, fully lasting strong hoppy bitter finish. Not so easy to drink, delicious dessert IPA.

Bottled 500ml. -Slovak crew of course. Clear golden coloured, minimal white head, light hops in the nose. Quite herbal hoppy taste with notes of fruits and alcohol. Bitter hoppy finish with notes of alcohol. Quite nice but alcohol is a bit too strong pronounced.

Oooh booy, thanks to the Slovak Crew! Had huge expectations for this one after tasting the NoHopLimit. Did it deliver? Let’s see. Deep amber body, white head. Hm. Aroma... oranges, malty notes, aromatic, herbal hoppiness, not bad at all. Aromatic, huge bitterness in the taste balanced by a good, nice sweet malty body, only some alcohol and milt stickiness detract. Very likable indeed. Didn’t feel it was the best Hopfanatic beer, perhaps not Kaltenecker either. Ah well - great beer in any case.
