Kaatuu lasiin kuparinruskeana ja sameana, vaahto on noin sormen paksuinen ja jättää lievää pitsiä lasin reunalle. Hajussa ensin tulee mäntyä, heti perään greippiä ja vielä kolmantena puuta. Hieman ruohoa ja taikinamaista virhehajuakin on mukana. Maku on huomattavasti puumaisempi, vahva kaarnainen humala syöksyy suuhun ja melkein peittää muut alleen. Havuisuutta ja kukkaista makuakin löytyy, keksiäkin on. Suutuntuma on tasaisen katkera ja se säilyy pistelevänä kielellä. Esimerkillinen suutuntuma IPAlle. Hajussa oli hieman virhemäistä aromia, mutta maussa se ei tuntunut ollenkaan. Unkarilaisen pienpanimoskenen parhaimmistoa ja miellyttävän katkera, tasapainoinen olut.

Bottled from Only Good Beer in Budapest. Copper-amber color with good and white foam. Hop aroma (piney and herbs), good and stable bitterness, long and dry aftertaste = good IPA.

.33l bottle from Only Good Beer in Budapest. Gushing pour, with huge (but pretty) tannish head. Big juicy hop aroma, a little less fresh than I’d like. Body goes quite bitter with dry yeast. Lots of sediment and quite hazy, deep orange body. Pineapple, some lemon zest, hits some nice notes. Fantastic IPA out of Hungary, probably the best beer from here that I’ve tried.

Jazzy orange yellow with huge off white foam head, lasting and lacing. Aroma is hop dominated. Taste is bitter with some orange, nice beer. (Velp 201303) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled. The first tasting did not like it so much, the brew repaired(?) or the time is good for quality. Hazy orange-brown color body with creamy caramel colour foam. Medium carbonation, silky, creamy taste, strong fruity bitterness, grapefruit, maybe fige, belgian hopped. Aftertase nice serious, definite bitter and long live. Good. Hungarian pride.

A reddish copper coloured beer with an off-white head. Aroma is intense hoppy with piney, resinous, citrusy character. Hoppy flavour with some malty sweetness. Long, bitter and dry hoppy aftertaste. Good one!

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2013 aroma of citruses, mainly grapefruit; dry taste of grapefruit and hoppy bitterness with long lasting spicy aftertaste;really good Hungarian IPA; congratulations for Tamas!

Bottle - Nice amber coloured, small off-white head which goes away . Good for the nose:hoppy & fruity. Taste comes with medium maltiness followed with tons of hop aromas: pine and grapefruit. Alcohol notes well hidden,a bit dry finish. Enjoyed very much!

A "hopfanatikus" Tamás barátunk támadása az ízlelőbimbók ellen. Elég gyümölcsösen kezdi a dolgot a szárnyas lény, jön egy kis citrus és sajt a belga élesztővel, grapefruit, fenyőgyanta, aztán már harap is azokkal az éles komlófogakkal. Érezni ezen is, hogy ebből sem sajnálták az anyagot, lapátoltak bele rendesen. Igen keserű és száraz a vége csak felkészült embereknek ajánlható!

23/06 A 0.33 l bottle courtesy of Marko, great thanks for sharing! It poured hazy orange to brown body with small head. Fine rich aroma of fruit and caramel malts, balanced with nice orange or grapefruit hops. Flavor was a bit lighter than expected, although very tasty when used to it. Balanced between sweet malt like figs, biscuit, caramel and even chocolate and nice orange and herbal hops it basically tastes like a nice jaffa cake. Not very rich in body, just average so, but has very pleasant qualities which resulted in nice long tasty finish, biscuit with dry herbal bitterness. Lot of things here indeed. Wonderful, very close to the first rating of four in over a year!
