Nagyon szép, bár nem túl tartós barna habja van. Koromfekete színű. Illata jellegzetes porteres, icipici gyümölcsös beütéssel. Íze a szokásos porter alap, bár határozottan a jobbik fajtából. A gyümölcsös aromákat alig alig érezni. Ha nem tudnám hogy ott kell lennie, nem biztos hogy felfigyelnék rá. Lehetne egy picit határozottabb. Kicsit teltebb, mint általában a porterek, de nem igazán súlyos versenyző. Utóíze is a szokásos.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Cloudy dark brown colour with a one finger tan head, retention and lacing not good. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, berry fruit, hops. Taste of malt, some fruitiness, bitter coffee, burnt wood/smoke. Bitter dry coffee flavours in the finish, sweetened slightly by the fruitiness. The fruit flavours seem to become more subtle as you drink it though. Interesting porter but I think I prefer more typical ones.

Almost opaque dark brown beer, decent pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, mild dark chocolate and coffee. A fruity tang on the back end. Slight earthy feel overall. Fairly dry finish. Okay - if a bit dry.

Keg at The Rake. It pours darkest brown, near black with no head. The aroma is soft, bitter - sweet, chocolate, slight jamminess, black forest gateaux and a touch of umami. The taste is bitter, roasted malts, charred wood, peppery spice, some berries, light acidity, light ash and earth with a lingering dry, roasted finish. Some nice aspects to it (particularly the aroma) but it is a touch flabby and flat. Alright.

On tap @ Hopfanatic Pub. Black color with short lasting brown head. Roasted malts, coffee and toffee aroma. Tastes of malts, coffee and the finishing somehow reminds me of the scent of milk. Altogether nice bitterness. I dont feel the advertised fruites though. Nevertheless, very decent beer.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2016 0.33 bottle from Beerosag. Murky brown, no head. Coffee, cappuccino, some off flavors. Creamy texture, green apple prevails. Sweet finish. Not so good.Infected probably. Re-rate at Hopfanatic. Not infected this time, although has some off flavors. Coffee, roasty, milky. Roasted barley dominates this one with chocolate and coffee in the background. Dry finish, dusty and roasty all the way. Not bad.
