3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Drank on cask (20 oz) at le Saint-Graal (Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec), for the Journée Québécoise de la Bière (Quebec Beer Day), August 13, 2011. Hazy golden blonde, good head. Spicy hop aroma well balanced, a little dry. Taste well balanced between spicy malted barley and semi sweet hops, with hints of sweet herbs, mild bitterness. This is undoubtedly the new hops Fred is used, but finaly a Belgian IPA that I can love!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Soirée des brasseurs. Gold pour with thick white head. Aroma of belgian yeast, tame hoppiness, light cereal notes. Taste is hoppy, belgian ale - grainy with a lot of yeast, quite spicy, this almost tastes like a saison. Palate is well carbed and full. Good even though not outstanding beer.
