Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, lactic acid, plums and tartness. Taste is light sweet and medium sour with a long dry, sour and tart finish. Body is light, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Bar Volo, Toronto, as Hopfenstark Berliner Weiss. Cloudy yellow, no head. Nose of green mango, pineapple syrup, somewhat tart. Flavour is tart, pineapple syrup up front, very clean finish. I could drink this through a straw. Best one of the night, and worthy of Rating #1000.

Pours a translucent pale yellow color. Notes of lacto, lemon Lysol, wheat, and acid. The palate is very tart and clean, with flavors of mostly lemon and wheat. Finishes quite dry and cleansing. A very refreshing Berliner.

On tap @ L’Hermite (Victoriaville). Hazy pale yellow with a small spotty white head and little lacing. Aroma of wheat, light sourness, lemon and light lactic notes. Taste is sligthly to moderately sour with strong lemony notes and wheat. Really light body. Slight dry. Super refreshing lemony and tart Berliner Weiss. Amazingly drinkable! Well made, even if you almost the impression to drink tart lemonade.

Draft @ the Festival. Pours a cloudy ghostlike yellowish green. Lots of tart lemony funk, lime acidity, granny apple, cereal malt. Really refreshing and balanced. Delicious !

I really don’t understand the low ratings with this one. Multiple samples at THE FESTIVAL - Maine 2013 with Andrew, Jay and Kramer. Pours a bright, vibrant pale-golden body with thin white lacing. Aroma is spot-on: perfect balance between fresh funk, fruit and acidity. Mouthfeel is lightly tart, with notes of lemon, funk, bright sour fruit, and light wheat in the back. A great Berliner.
