3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Melephant (6) - Saint Laurent, Quebec, - FEB 12, 2013This is a pretty basic, but good blanche. It has a bit of an orange and coriander flavour to it, and is lightly spiced. It is a nice refreshing beer. Light, but definitely not underwhelming in flavour. I liked it.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Reimer96 (594) - Alberta, CANADA - MAY 4, 2013
Pours a hazy golden light orange color with a frothy white head. Aroma of fruity banana esthers, cloves, coriander and slight citrus. Taste is crisp wheat, sweet banana up front transitioning into spices and the a nice zesty citrus on the finish with some coriander. Overall this is an excellent easy drinking wit.

On tap @ L’Hermite (Victoriaville). Murky (opaque) yellow with almost no head and no lacing. Aroma is of cloves, ginger, orange and lemon. Taste is about the same. Low carbonation, almost flat. Medium body. Spices and citrus are subtle and get along very well to create a good balance.Mouthfeel/body is a bummer for me though. Average Witbier at best.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Johnsense (454) - - MAR 30, 2013
Poured a cloudy golden yellow with a 1 finger head that stayed until the glass was finished. Aroma of lemon, pepper, spice, honey, bread, brett. Taste lives up to the aroma - lemon sourness balanced out by cracked peppercorn, brett funkiness, citrus hops. Thin mouthfeel and lightly carbonated. Now if only L’assomption was closer to Toronto.

Bottle - 750ml. Hazy golden body with a thin white frothy head. Wice, fresh malty/hoppy aroma with yeasty, orange, and coriander hints. Its well balanced taste is slightly dominated by hoppy flavors. It carries coriander, herbal, citrusy, and yeasty notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Well done.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 VT (796) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 8, 2013
750 ml bottle. Pours a veiled whitish straw with a short lasting white head. Smell is orange, coriander, lemon. Taste is lots of coriander, orange, lemon, peppery, and strangely...somewhat salty? Finish is spicy hops. Light, very subtle bitterness. Lingering coriander taste. Medium to strong body. An okay beer from a style I like, but very generic nonetheless, especially for its price. Disappointing, regardless of its rating.

On tap at Hopfenstark during their anniversary party. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a large white head that slowly deflates. Soft wheat on the nose, coriander is prominent with a lovely amount of orange behind it. Big musky coriander. Medium bodied, goes right away to a soft sweet wheat note, more coriander and orange. Carbonation is very gentle, possibly due to how foamy this one was when pouring. Long musky coriander into the finish. Very easy drinking.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 AlainG (633) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 28, 2012
