Oct 27, 2008 Draught at Volo, Cask Days, October 2008. Cloudy yellow with a large persistant head, poured as a 4 oz taster filling only half the glass, but the head took up most of the rest. The aroma on this is wonderful: lemon, yeast, with plenty of bubblegum. I have ’corn husk’ written down here...hmm. The flavour is slightly sour, yeasty with lemon, sour white grapefruit. A wonderful example of the witbier style.

Aroma is a very spicy lemon, yeast(reminiscent of a saison) cloudy, yellow, small white head. Flavour is again a spicy lemon, yeast, slight wheat. Light bodied, very spritzy, lots of carbonation. Terrific!

(3+) Zippy yeasty aroma with a kiss of lemon (7+) Flavour is the standard complement of wit characteristics, but very well executed. Yeast, touch of lemon tartness. Jul 14, 2008 Updated: Sep 4, 2008Verre de 6 oz, d’un fût au Pub Brouhaha. Arômes citronnées et de céréales. Robe jaune pâle et trouble. Relativement mince en bouche, on retrouve une belle acidité de blé et de levure, accompagnée d’une très rafraîchissante touche citronnée. Finale légèrement sûre. Original et très bon.
