Rich citrusy and piny aroma made of 100% Falconer’s Flight hops. 65IBU balance with nice malt presence to keep it easy drinking as a Pale Ale should be.

Cloudy orange pour. Tangerine and apricot notes - full flavor. Had this on draft at the Hopfenstark brewpub. Enjoying a good pale ale.

On tap at Station Ho.st. Pours a lightly hazed golden amber with a medium to large white head. A little bit of a dusty paper note on the nose, with some musky hops behind it all. Medium bodied, soft muskiness over some dusty malt. A bit of sage and lemon. Soft musk into the finish. Tasty.

Cask Days 2013. Pale amber pour the nose is fruity and citrusy. Lots of lemon and tropical fruit over a nice toasted malt base. A bit of toffeeish sweetness and some nice fruitiness. Assertive bitterness. Lovely

Drank at Bieres et Saveurs Chambly 2012.The color is a hazy amber with a thin beige head. The aroma is of malt, hops and herbs. The taste also of hops and spicies that give it a sweet taste. It has a very good finish overall a good example of an A.P.A.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a large white head. Aromas are fruit, citrus, pine and maybe a little biscuit. Taste is resinous pine and dry grainy malts (rye?). Light bodied, medium carbonation, and a lengthy astringent bitter finish. Nice APA but not spectacular, in fact the assertive hop profile and long bitter finish makes me think this would be better classified as an IPA.

750 ml bottle from Bieres du Monde (Aylmer), served cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy amber with a messy off-white head. Aroma: Beautiful hops, Falconer’s Flight strikes again!, citrus and pine with a really nice toasty malt backbone, clean and delicious. Palate: Medium body, somewhat relaxed effervescence. Flav.: Follows the nose well with nice pine/resin and citrus notes supported by toast and caramel malts, straight forward and quite delicious; dry with nice bitterness and a fairly long pine and caramel/toffee finish.

Might not be $12-a-bottle beautiful, but it is dang purdy nonetheless.
