COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich citrusy and piny aroma made of 100% Falconer’s Flight hops. 65IBU balance with nice malt presence to keep it easy drinking as a Pale Ale should be.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a large white head. Aromas are fruit, citrus, pine and maybe a little biscuit. Taste is resinous pine and dry grainy malts (rye?). Light bodied, medium carbonation, and a lengthy astringent bitter finish. Nice APA but not spectacular, in fact the assertive hop profile and long bitter finish makes me think this would be better classified as an IPA.

750 ml bottle from Bieres du Monde (Aylmer), served cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy amber with a messy off-white head. Aroma: Beautiful hops, Falconer’s Flight strikes again!, citrus and pine with a really nice toasty malt backbone, clean and delicious. Palate: Medium body, somewhat relaxed effervescence. Flav.: Follows the nose well with nice pine/resin and citrus notes supported by toast and caramel malts, straight forward and quite delicious; dry with nice bitterness and a fairly long pine and caramel/toffee finish.

Might not be $12-a-bottle beautiful, but it is dang purdy nonetheless.

750 ml bottle from flaveurs d’ici A: citrusy, caramel, toasty. App: clear orange with white head. T/p: medium body with long bitter finish. It has an oily texture. O: had this one originally at biere et saveur served from cask. The bottle version to me has more mouthfeel.

Bottle: Poured a bright orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of light fruity hops notes with semi-sweet caramel malt base is interesting. Taste is mostly dominated by fruity hops with some semi-sweet ca5ramelized malt and light floral finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Overall this was an enjoyable experience though this is far form a variety of hops that I enjoy.

Very average pale ale with a very light citrus hop and missing malts. Nothing bad but nothing much going on.

On tap @ Le Trou du Diable (Shawinigan). Slightly hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma of grapefruits, resinous and grassy hops, slight caramel and banana. Taste is slightly sweet with grapefruit, pine and slight caramel. Medium body. Good refreshing APA. Drinkable.

Bouteille 750ml.
