I get none of the fruit or citrus that others find in the nose. Poured amber/brown in color with a medium-sized, off-white, dense head that lasted throughout . A great head. Cloudy. Excellent lacing. Flavor is medium bitter. Tastes of hops, Earth, and light malts. Medium body. Soft to average carbonation. Average texture. Light to medium bitter hop and Earth finish. Pours a cloudy orange amber colour with a generous white head. Body is well carbonated and somewhat complex. Flavour is somewhat floral with a great hop bitterness in the aftertaste. I’m really liking this brewery. Need Fred to get me some more! tomthompson89 (1474), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 23, 2009 Bottle: Poured a hazy amber-orange color ale with a quite large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cat pea and dry hops which is somewhat reminiscent of Orval. Taste is also a strange mix between some dry European style hops with some funky Orvalesque notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Bottle had kind of aged and developed an Orval like infection which was very interesting though necessarily voluntary. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 24, 2009 From cask at Vices et Versa. Hazy amber-orange with a small but sticky white head. Beautiful citrus (grapefruit, orange) and pine hoppy aroma. Flavour maintains the hop presence, with the addition of caramel and biscuit from the malt. Carbonation is about what you’d expect from a cask. Very, very solid. JulienHuxley (195), Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada

The nose is nice and hoppy a little grassy hops with a solid malt aroma in the backround. The mouthfeel is full and almost oily. Taste is rich malt and good bitterness but not dry.
