75 cl bottle (7% abv) @ Timo A.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Lemon and spices on the nose, grassy hops, faint yeast and wood. Citric fruits, lemon peel, spices, maybe some yeast too. A bit weird, some alcohol comes through at the end.

750 ml bottle. Thanks Timo A. Pours a golden colour with a small head. Aroma of grainy malts, strong pungent herbs and some alcohol. Flavour of strong grains, herbs, mild sweetness and grassy bitterness. Hard carbonation. Harsh.

Pours light golden, slightly cloudy. Very low head and carbonation for a saison. High residual sweetness, low bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy golden with white head. Aroma is fruity with apple and banana, some citrus as well. Taste is very nice not as dry as i expected, but its a nice summer beer.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a decent hazy orange color with a one and a half finger white foamy head that dissipated in about a minute. Once it dissipated, wow, what a nice looking thick foamy spider web lacing to this one. The smell had some light sweet fruit - light cherry to apple to some faint pears. There was a light grassy funk with a nice light spice. The taste took those fruits and added a light spice in a somewhat grassy context of sorts. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a slight sessionable quality about it. Overall, good saison more than worthy of coming back to.

Bottle at ’Schouskjelleren. Rather spicy, the hops makes this more complex than your standard saison. I prefer them celaner. Still a very nice beer, but it is closer to a wit than a saison.

>> Interesting, can’t say it’s good. Huge plastic overtones. Big white lace on full haze orange, chill haze. Dark for saison. Phenolic, plastic, harsh finish. Nose is vinegar, somewhat vegetal, super sticky, big sugar. Taste is cloying somehow even though the finish is concrete dry. Not good. Worse over time. Bleh. This brewery has the right ideas but poor execution.

Pours a lightly hazy golden with a medium white head that leaves intense lacing. Nose is perfumey and floral, also offers some nice pepper and light grass. Taste is dry-ish, bitter. Flavors are fruity but also of fresh grains. Finish is spicy/peppery and moderately long. Body is medium, carbonation made of really fine bubbles gives an also creamy mouthfeel. Overall a well made saison, one of the better ones from Quebec (it used to be king but competition stepped up both in quantity and quality in the last few years).
