Pours a cloudy light golden yellow with a nice frothy white head and an aroma that is very floral. Loads of yeast and grass, also some banana and spice. Taste is a big mouthfeel of spice, floral and yeast. This would be so much better on a hot day on a patio. I’ll have to settle for now, in my livingroom watching a hockey game in -27 degree weather. Still great.

Bouteille de 750 ml, légère mousse après l?avoir versée qui disparait immédiatement. Odeur d?agrume et ne cache pas son acidité. Un peu surette au goût. Se boit facilement. Très agréable.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, GregClow, and Garthicus, courtesy of GregClow and thanks to the guys at Hopfenstark for the bottle! Floral, herbal aroma, really really nice and inviting. Dark hazy yellow, small white head, loos terrific. Huge sour taste at first, fades to a lovely floral quenching finish. Light malt, huge flavour. Complex. These guys know how to make terrific Saisons.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2009 Bottle (750ml) Shared by GregClow with me, blankboy, garthicus and tupalev. Hazy orange, plenty of floaties, and an average lasting creamy off-white head. Incredibly dry and spicy/herbal aroma, with citrus zest and decent malty sweetness. The taste has so much happening - lemon sourness (big up-front hit of sourness, abates quickly), orange zest, grassy bitterness, spicy yeast, and a lingering acidity - note was "fucking awesome!" Lively mouthfeel, acidic, sticky, finishes sour and crisp (if that’s possible) - WANT MORE OF THIS.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, garthicus, blankboy & tupalev - my bottle, via the brewery. Hazy dark golden with a small white head. Aroma is very herbal and dry, with a nose-tingling tart/sour edge. Medium bodied. Flavour is moderately sour and quite herbal, with a strong citrus ege, a bit of yeast, and a dry, bracing finish. Awesome.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Boutip (3971) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 17, 2011
Draft: Poured a dirty opaque beige color ale with a large foamy head with super great retention and some good lacing. Aroma of spices and herb with great rustic malt notes. Taste is very refreshing with great notes of spices and herb (something similar to coriander stands out but I couldn’t say what exactly), some rustic malt notes and some light funky ester. Body is quite full with some very limited filtration and good carbonation. Very nice beer which I would love to have more regular access to.

2010-12-11. Lightly hazy pastel yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Flavour has a sharp bitterness up front with a sort of dandelion/floral bitterness to it. 7+ Aroma is similar, grassy, notes of dandelion, hints of lemongrass. 7+ Smooth average bodied palate is pleasantly carbonated. 3+ Very enjoyable. Tap at Volo, Toronto

Taster at Festival Bieres et Saveurs 08. The color is a hazy honey with a beige head. The aroma is so pleasant with the presence of herbs spicies and malt. The taste is also of herbs and mint and malt. The finish is a dry taste that is very pleasing.
