On tap at Hopmonk. Cloudy brown pour with a thick white head. Aroma is bready, biscuity, some hef notes. Yeasty. Flavor is pretty not good. Biscuity, weirdly metallic, lots of pennies. Sweet and malty. A little to sweet. Not very good.

This beer has a very sweet aroma. It is a dark cloudy brown. It is very light tasting for such a dark beer and has a banana bread flavor. You can really taste the hef notes from the yeast. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A very interesting beer! Tasty! Pours a really nice cloudy orange, with a white head. Smells lightly of bananas and pepper. Taste is pure bananas, creamy, tropical fruit, malty. Banana aftertaste. Very good and different. Had on tap at the brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap: hazy brown with a thin white head. Aroma is clove, banana, caramel, and a little yeast. Flavor is sweet with caramel and banana with a bit of lemon and clove spiciness. Palate is sweet and spicy with decent carbonation, could use a little more IMO. Good flavors easy warm weather drinking.

A hazy dark amber weizen with a thin off white head. A rather intense sweet berry aroma, cranberry, buttery and cloying. In mouth, an intense oily banana bread, light lactic notes, a bit thin and simple. On tap at brewpub, August 16 2009.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a murky dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a wheat malty spicy yeasty aroma with some hints of clove. Sweetish wheat malty spicy flavor with some yeasty hints. Has a sweetish wheat malty spicy finish.

On tap at Hopmonk. Murky brown with a two finger eggshell head that lasted the duration of the glass. Aroma was full of ripe bananas and buttery notes, which made the bananas seem even sweeter. Light spicy clove and lemon finished up the aroma. Flavor added some sweet caramel notes, and again, plenty of buttery bananas to go around. Minimal bitterness noted. Medium body with light carbonation. Not too bad, but nothing amazing, either.
