COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Hopothesis IPA is the first of many cerebral drinking experiences. Our India Pale Ale is specifically formulated to be balanced, flavorful, and approachable. It can be easily paired with a variety of food and you can drink more than one and still feel quite lucid. Enjoy. Centennial & Cascade Hops 2-Row & Vienna Malts

12 oz. bottle from a M&M 6-pack pours a clear amber color with decent white head and some lacing. Not much to smell. Aroma is a little saopy with hints of caramel malt and citrus hops, but not as evident as what I expect from an IPA. Taste is nondescript, lacking bitterness or sweetness. Body is light to medium with flat carbonation. Wisconsinís oldest brewery never ceases to disappoint me except for Huber Bock and a couple of high gravity malt liquors. "Minhas Craft Brewery" should be renamed "Minhas Crass Brewery" or "Minhas Crap Brewery"

Mediocre IPA at best. Nothing really stands out and there isnít a lot of hops or malt. Some light off flavors as well.

This pours a clear golden color with a slight foamy head with a slightly bitter aroma. The taste is smooth and has a very sour/bitter tone. There is a flavor that tastes like old sour water that distracts from the overall taste. This could definitely use some work and improvements.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2012 12 ounce bottle. Ahhhh, Minhas. I wish I hadnít seen your name when I retrieved this rating page. It has a clear, amber color and there isnít much bubble action. The foam hangs out on top like stagnant, dimpled, cellulite epithelium. Subtle pine smell. The flavor is pine, malts, citrus hops and booze. I didnít pick up on any spiciness, as you may expect with cascade hops. Itís stale and generally unpleasant. I give it a C.

Bottle. Pours an amber color, white head, so-so retention, nose is pine, citrus with some malt. Mouth is fruity hops, malt and a sweetness that lingers, cloyingly so at the end. Average.

Bottle. Amber pour with frothy head. Smells of very sweet malts. Tastes of light hops and stale water. Not sure if this is actually brewed by minhas or if the water in Monroe is bad but it seems like no good beer comes from there. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From sampler rack at the Pig....nose and color / appearance were good....taste not so much. Taste was kind of metallic and very very bitter...but not in a good way. Not good.

Draft at Chicago Hyatt regency. Doesnít smell like much. Maybe a little hop. Taste is very mild and flat. Not very good.

Had it at the Chicago Craft Beer Festival 6/22/13. Clear amber hue with light lacing and head and a hop bitter taste.

Carbonation is the most apparent tasting note in this bland IPA- the packaging is the strongest feature. The bottle design is simple and cool, but the beer doesnít live up to the neat logos.
