3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the brewery. Man, this was good. Pours a very dark brown color with a medium light brown/tan head. The aroma is light chocolate (the coldness and glasses used at Hoppers always limit the nose). The flavor was awesome: big rich chocolates, light vanilla, I guess it was the cinnamon and cacao but something came across as really unique and big. Sweet but not too sweet. Really flavorful. For the ABV, a homerun.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On draft at Hoppers. Cinnamon, chocolate, roasted malt, sweet coffee, reminds me of Christmas cookies. An interesting beer, not a favorite of mine. Very enjoyable. Would like in colder weather.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Hoppers
Appearance: Dark brown with a small tan head and spotty lacing
Aroma: Dark malts and chocolate
Taste: Dark bakers chocolate with some cinnamon spice
Nice and smooth. I see Donovan used Mexican chocolate, I didn’t know that when I was drinking it. It reminded me of drinking hot chocolate made with Mexican chocolate. I just didn’t put the two together until now. A nice beer. It was a little thin. This would be a good candidate to up the ABV and bottle it!
