COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A southern German lager expected to be consumed in great quantities. Our Helles uses a great blend of five unique German malts and German ‘Noble’ hops to give this beer a malty-sweet medium body and a fresh crisp flavorful finish. It is less hoppy than the Pilsner and much more flavorful than the Uno Mas, with just enough hops to balance with the malt. Most popular beer at Oktoberfest!

Appearance: Clear yellow with a medium sized white head and good lacing
Aroma: Light malts with some banana esters
Taste: Malty, bready, banana with a mild bitterness in the finish
Nice and smooth drinking, clean

Draft at Brewpub. Pours golden and leaves a ton of lacing. Dry and creamy on the tongue. Very clean beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Another addition to Hoppers’ great line up of brews. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head and lots of lacing. The aroma is full of rich malts, some banana, and a hint of German hops. The flavor is smooth and very nice; a crisp malt presence which is not cloying, balanced well by the hops, which are especially present in the finish. Not too sweet, but full of flavor. A very nice example of the style. An excellent medium and smooth mouthfeel.
