Our Summerset Saison Ale is made with traditional Saison grains of barley malt, spelt, and raw oats. We added Citra hops to both the kettle and during fermentation-along with complex rustic farmhouse yeast-giving a summer punch bowl of refreshing hoppiness. Enjoy this modern take of a classic artisan ale.

750 ml bottle courtesy of Sledutah. Used a snifter. Thick, full head with excellent retention. Nose is lemon and a touch of Barnyard. The taste is a myriad of flavors. Hops, lemon citrus, hay/ barnyard and some light malt to balance it. Complex, yet refreshing. I’m glad I didn’t share this bottle with anybody. As soon as I finished the 1st glass, I ran to finish the bottle. An excellent Saison. I really think this is a creative version of this style. If you can trade for a bottle, do it! Many thanks go out to Craig on this one

(750ml bottle) clear bright gold, little to no head. Nose of huge coriander, white pepper, light fruit like apple and pears. Taste of white pepper, lightly spicy, pear, complex and really quite nice. Easy to drink, medium carbonation, light to medium body. Good saison.

Bottle from Sledutah, thanks!. Pours a lightly hazed gold with some orange at the middle. Fluffy white head that persists. The nose is nice. Lots of fruity esters, spice, light cardamom and coriander notes. Citrus is pretty dominant with some floral hopping as well. Nice nose. On taste, really well balanced with enough bitterness to keep it in check. firm malt backbone and dry finish. more of the citrus and cardamom notes come through. Really cool saison and quite tasty.

Bottle from Gription79...thanks Dallas! - Light hazy yellow with a thin white head. Fresh lemongrass, herbal hops, light menthol, grainy, dusty yeast...nice. More sweetness in the taste, with herbal hoppiness, menthol, sweet malt. Pretty thick with nice carbonation. Sweeter than I would have thought, but really good stuff.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a great looking hazy orange with fizzy white head. Aroma is very nice, notes of orange, funk, lemon peel, hey, citrus hop, earth. Flavor is much the same with a light tartness with added grass. Light body with high, fizzy carbonation. Overall, very enjoyable!

This is a great American skewed Saison. The beer comes in a 750ml capped bottle. Golden in color with white long lasting head Aroma: yeast driven, spicy, earthy, strong hop presence, (punch bowl is fairly accurate) lots of tropical fruit Taste: rustic Saison yeast, earthy, tangerines, bready malts, This is a dry beer with a firm bitterness that is always in check with everything else that is going on. This is a great Saison. I really enjoy what the Citra hops brought to this beer.

750mL bottle, no date. Clear gold with off-white, fair retention. Citra hops and rinds, some peppery yeast, but not very saison-y. Flavor follows suit, plenty of Citra going on again, some oats. Dry, bitterness at a 4. Light to moderate creamy carbonation with a medium body. Not bad.
