Bottle, courtesy of allesmetkaas, @ Dean sticky floor tasting 2. Pours a black beer with a small beige head. Aroma of molasses, caramel and roasted malts and chocolate. Flavour is sweet, malty and full of dark chocolate. Quite a nice beer, could be more full bodied.

Bottled from Erzbierschof, Bern – Pours black with a nice brown head. Very sweet, malty nose. Surprisingly bitter taste with a lot of roast. Not very complex, expected some more "real" chocolat taste.

Nice chocolate malt nose. Bitter sweet chocolate, light coffee and nice roasted flavor. Add a nice hops profile and its a winner

This one poured a darker brown to black color with a beige head. Aroma was of roasted malts, chocolate, light earthy hops. Flavor was very well incorporated roasted malt without being overly bitter or too sweet. Just another great stout by Hoppin Frog.

Pours black with a thin mocha head. Aroma has burnt roastiness and dark fruits...mild woody smoke or peat. Flavor has some chocolate amd wheat when you search but its mostly charred roast with some dark fruit...bitter bakers chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is dry and roasty with creeping bitter chocolate.
