22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is solid hoppy, toasted malty and grapefruity. Smooth fruity, crisp hoppy, grapefruity, light peachy and mixed with toffee roasted caramelish malt. Bitter and lingering fruity finish.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, soy sauce, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Dark body with a tan head. Aroma is extremely roasted with licorice. Flavor is black malt char with a nice bitterness and licorice. Easy drinking from the wheat,

Black pour larege tall tan to brown head with thick lacing. First sniff was a fair hop blast a bit grassy mixed with a bitter cocoa powder. Full well coated palate. Flavor is soft touches of coffee coccoa powder lactose finishes clean. Very easy to drink.

Bottle from alexsdad06. Color opaque black. Nose of folgers instant coffee and roast. Initially some sweet hop flavor, followed by the coffee and roast.

Appearance: pours dark brown and no head.
Aroma: Dark chocolate, citrusy hops. Lots of orange.
Taste: Grapefruit hops, pepper dark chocolate,cold espresso.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied. Average carbonation.
Overall: A great hoppy stout. This and the second of the series were very strong showings. I would drink this fresh if given the choice, so snatch it up now.

Chocolate and hop aromas. Chocolaty flavors. Mouth coating. Overall a very good stout.

Bomber. Pours pitch black with a nice small frothy head that lingers a bit. Pretty good lacing. Aromas are chocolate, ash, and smoke with some floral, grassy, and spicy hops. Taste is slightly bitter chocolate mixed with burnt wood and light smoke. Hops come out nicely in finish, floral and spicy. Finish is creamy too. Fairly thick mouthfeel and somewhat chewy. A really nice imperial stout.
