Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût de céréales avec une pointe d’épices et d’agrumes. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light heavy hoppy, grass, fruity, leather. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, brett, saison yeast, caramel, fruity. Late finish white pepper. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20130219]

22 ounce bottle. It pours a slightly hazy orange/amber color with about a half inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The aroma is very sweet and spicy, it smells like citrusy hops (tropical fruit, grapefruit), sweet oranges, caramel, and Belgian yeast. The taste is also mostly sweet and spicy, the brew tastes like caramel, citrusy hops, toffee, sweet spices, oranges, and a bit of peppery spice. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s creamy and slick with moderate carbonation. Overall, very different and very interesting.

A bit hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of orange, some soap, light spiced and some wood. About the same in the taste. Also some marmelade and alcohol. Drinkable but nothing spectacular.

22 oz. bottle. Hoppin Frog version. Pours a mostly clear amber with a finger of off-white head, rising small carbonation bubbles, and small spots of lace. Aroma of rich, bready malts, mixed spices, apricot, earthy funk, leaves, and ginger. Not a lot of hop character here. Flavor of boozy bread, winter spices, applesauce, leaves, dried fruits, and caramel. Medium-full bodied, with moderate carbonation and a heavy, boozy mouthfeel. Intense. Maybe a few months past big hops but this will age for a couple more years.

Bottle @ Papsoe tasting. Hazy amber with medium tan head. Aroma is amlt, caramel, yeast, spices and hop. Flavour is malt, caramel, yeast, spices, fruit, notes of phenols, little bitter, medium sweet, and hop.

very sweet, tangerine, citrus, sugar, bubblegum, grass/hay, herbs and spice.
Taste is almost cloyingly sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is soft. Finishes very fruity sweet.
