COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
U.S Meets Europe S.I.P.A. - Collaborating with De Molen Brewery in the "Green Heart" of The Netherlands, we have created a wild and inventive recipe that is a unique blend of the best from both worlds! A super-charged Saison I.P.A. is born, featuring kilos of American hops to add a crazy twist to this European-style ale. The fruity, spicy flavors of this malty Double Saison are nicely complimented by an abundance of late and dry-hopping with the finest American hops.

This is the Hoppin’ Frog version, for the De Molen version go to that brewery’s page.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, malt, caramel, alcohol, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Spicy, citrusy aroma with a herbal touch. Thick, sweet and sugary body with a lowish carbonation. Loads of caramel, perfumy hop accents and a rather boozy finish. A bit much. 150313

Sampled at Ft Wayne RB tasting - Pours hazy copper and has an enjoyable big citrus hop aroma. I thought this beer was surprisingly sweet for a saison/ipa. It’s almost sugary. The citrus flavors come through very nicely. Medium to full bodied, it’s quite good.

Lätt grumlig gyllene i färgen, litet vitt skum. Doftar friskt av gräs gröna örter, citrus, vitpeppar, honung. Smakar söt ton av honung, grönt gräs, frukt, aprikos, söt och bitter avslutning.

Bottle @ home via trade with Veldrid. Thanks! Pours a hazy reddish orange appearance wit ha small tan head. Smells quite strong: rich orange citrus, bread, grapefruit, mild herbs. The flavor is quite strong and fairly boozy with notes of orange, mango, citrus, lots of bread, and bitter hops. Not what I was expecting and the strength is a bit overwhelming.

Bottle, pours a nice light black, the flavour is funky and harsh, it just tasted a bit unfinished like something was missing, it wasnt easy to drink. I was hoping it would be good because both these brewerys are great
