COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In a collaboration with Fanø Brewery on Fano Island in Denmark, we created an Imperial Stout recipe to satisfy our own deepest desires. Brewing it on this picturesque summertime vacation island is how Natasha started, and of course we couldn’t wait to brew it at Hoppin’ Frog! The result is Natasha Rocks America - a rich, hoppy Imperial Stout with the deep-roasted, smooth flavor of Chocolate Rye malt. And, Natasha is generously dry-hopped with the perfect mix of select American hops, adding a great hop character to this super-tasty Imperial Stout collaboration brew.

Bottle shared at ChrisO’s pre-GBBF 2013 Shindig.Opaque black, off white head. Nose is fruity hop, chocolate, black coffee, quite dry. Taste is hop bitter, citrousy hops, then chocolate and coffee. The balance really works and it has a nice hoppy fruity bite alongside the malty chocolate flavours.Very well balanced.

Bottle: Deep brown, nearly black, moderate beige head, decent lacing.   Sweet roasted malts, coffee on the nose.   More hop than the Fano version.   Similar on the tongue.   Some graham cracker too.   Moderate sweetness, slightly astringent.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Slightly dry on the finish, roasty, lingering coffee.   Fairly good, and similar to fano, but not as sweet and roasy, slightly more acrid and hoppy.   Thanks Kevin!

Bottle, shared. Thick, decadently black, almost oily. Tan head, one finger. Aroma of amazing spicy rye, a touch of smoke, chocolate. Hint of hops. Taste bitter, from hops as well as the dark grain. In fact slightly acrid, cooking chocolate type bitterness. Slight coffee taste too. Good, but a touch on the bitter/acrid side to really deeply enjoy.

Bottle shared by GT. Black pour with a large tan head. Heavy roasted malt and rye aromas. Slight smoke, coffee, and a bit of ash. Cocoa powder and dark chocolate, decently hoppy, too. The flavor is more bitter than expected. Lots of roasted malt, coffee, rye, and dark chocolate. Notes of smoke, earthy hops, and some molasses. A light acidity to the finish.
