In a collaboration with Fanø Brewery on Fano Island in Denmark, we created an Imperial Stout recipe to satisfy our own deepest desires. Brewing it on this picturesque summertime vacation island is how Natasha started, and of course we couldn’t wait to brew it at Hoppin’ Frog! The result is Natasha Rocks America - a rich, hoppy Imperial Stout with the deep-roasted, smooth flavor of Chocolate Rye malt. And, Natasha is generously dry-hopped with the perfect mix of select American hops, adding a great hop character to this super-tasty Imperial Stout collaboration brew.

22oz bottle pours a watery, translucent mahogany brown with one ring of white head. Nose is sweet, orange, brown bread, cola, chocolate. Flavor is nice, bread, chocolate powder, rye, light pepper, a little mushroom. Lots of umami. Almost a bit meaty. Full, dry finish.

Black pour. Big frothy head that slowly falls. Tons of lacing. Big spicy chocolate aroma. Pepper and hops. Taste is a chocolate and pepper bomb. More on the chocolate side though. Creamy and smooth. A bit thin in body, but not so much that it sucks. This beer is fantastic.

Bottle courtesy of noodleuser, thank you! Very dark clear brown color, few edge bubbles. Aroma of bright pine, rich chocolate, nice spiced, like a spiced black IPA, but richer. Taste is cocoa and coffee covered pine needles with tartuffo. Delicious.

Smell of cocoa, malts, tar, ash. Blackish brown colour, dark brown head. Aroma of ash, roadted malts, tar, coffee, pepper, faints of chocolate. Very bitter with aslight sweetness. Heavy palate. Soft and plentiful carbon.

Bomber crushed with TheRon. Pours very dark reddish brown with a tan head that sticks around. I poured too much out and got a ton of the floaties from the bottom of the bottle. Initial aroma is grassy, earthy hops, some spiciness, a good amount of roast/coffee. Pretty light-bodied, easy drinking, which is good since it’s 90 degrees out. Flavor is dominated by earthy, grassy hops and more roast. Surprisingly a bit sour at the same time, maybe from the yeast suspended in the beer. Not bad.
