COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In a collaboration with Fanø Brewery on Fano Island in Denmark, we created an Imperial Stout recipe to satisfy our own deepest desires. Brewing it on this picturesque summertime vacation island is how Natasha started, and of course we couldn’t wait to brew it at Hoppin’ Frog! The result is Natasha Rocks America - a rich, hoppy Imperial Stout with the deep-roasted, smooth flavor of Chocolate Rye malt. And, Natasha is generously dry-hopped with the perfect mix of select American hops, adding a great hop character to this super-tasty Imperial Stout collaboration brew.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2013 Pours black with a half finger length of a reddish mocha color that disispates quickly and leaves a nice lacing. Smells is an excellent mix of hops and stout qualities. Get the floral, little bit of grapefruit or cherry, and a little pine from the hops. At the same time, get lots of roasted qualities, dark chocolate, maybe a little coffee, vanilla, little rye from the stout side of it. Smells like an interesting berry chocolate smell overall. Taste starts with a lot of hop qualities. Get the floral, a lot of grapefruit, some kind of berry. Also get some roastiness, but not too much. Then the middle, get a nice dose of carmel or toffee, as well as some milk chocolate and some spicy rye. The hop qualities stay around, but a very creamy texture comes about. I’m guessing some oatmeal added to its creaminess and smoothness. Finish is very complex with some berry and grapefruit, dryness from the hops, as well as some roasted coffee and chocolate, perhaps some vanilla. Get a good amount of sweetness from the carmel or brown sugar flavors. A little spicy rye as well. A high medium body with a great creamy mouthfeel and carbonation. This is an extremely interesting beer that mixes an IPA with a stout beautifully in my opinion. Well done.

Bottle, courtesy of Kermis, @ Dean sticky floor tasting 2. Pours a very black beer with a nice creamy beige head. Aroma is grassy, hoppy. More of a black IPA than an Imperial Stout. Flavour is quite bitter with some hoppy influences and a nice balance between hop and malt. Great.

22oz. bottle. Aroma of roasty, chocolate malt, piney hop, black bread and a faint hint of spice from the rye, some toffee in the background as well. Black in color with dark brown highlights around the edges of the glass and a tan head that fades. Flavor profile seems to land somewhere between a Double Black IPA and an Imperial Porter, with plenty of roasty, dark chocolate malt and hoppy bitterness, along with suggestions of dark sweetness, lightly charred grain, coffee, pine, resin and earthiness. Decent complexity here. Finely effervescent, dry and lightly warming on the palate, body is full. Nice one!

Bottle shared @ Dean’s Sticky Floor Tasting II. Pours black with a tan head. Grassy hops overpower any other aroma. Lovely thick mouth feel, but like the aroma, the grass hops overpower any other flavour

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured thick and black with a large foamy brown head that lingered and left decent lacing. The flavor was roasty, toasty and malty with note of vanilla and cola. The flavor was malty, roasty and toasty with hints of smoke, cola and vanilla. Long roasty and smoky cola and vanilla finish. Medium body.. Ok.
