COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In a collaboration with Fanø Brewery on Fano Island in Denmark, we created an Imperial Stout recipe to satisfy our own deepest desires. Brewing it on this picturesque summertime vacation island is how Natasha started, and of course we couldn’t wait to brew it at Hoppin’ Frog! The result is Natasha Rocks America - a rich, hoppy Imperial Stout with the deep-roasted, smooth flavor of Chocolate Rye malt. And, Natasha is generously dry-hopped with the perfect mix of select American hops, adding a great hop character to this super-tasty Imperial Stout collaboration brew.

Full body looking brew. I ordered the brew solely on the Russian prostitute name but must say I’m enjoying her fully. A great balanced beer.

Pitch black, oil slick looking deep body with hardly any head at all, sho5wing about 95% opacity. Aroma of chocolate, deep roasted malts, licorice, vanilla, oak, rye, cream and some strong fruit sweetness - deep and super pungent. Full-bodied; Deep roasty flavours show with anise, licorice, canella, cream, light chiles and a touch of oak. Aftertaste shows, interestingly enough, some watery flavours, but the deep roasted malt, earth, grain, rye, chocolate and coffee really come through as well - interesting. Overall, a well-balanced stout, but I wouldn’t say this is ’imperial’, but that perhaps is a good thing. Deep and strong flavoured with a good look and smell, and nice set of complexities. Good to try and interesting, but of course, on the expensive side. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Leuken’s Liqour in Dunedin, Florida on 03-October-2015 for US$9,99 sampled at home in Washington a few hours before a winter storm may come through here on 21-January-2016.

Bottle picked up at Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent (I think) consumed at Thistledown Farm campsite Friday 11th September 2015 with Baz. Pours black with a light beige head. Wonderfully rich and velvety with chocolate the prominent flavour, it really is hugely cocoa forward but damn good quality addictive cocoa, a little fine sediment mouthfeel. I am amazed that I had not rated this before as I’d had this perhaps a couple of times. Malty with the hops (pine) also now showing, also like the fact that compared to many Impy Stouts this is actually not that strong. Really like this, beer of the weekend. A8 A4 T8 P5 Ov16 4.1

Bottle. Huge black pour with an even larger head. Semi sweet with resinous notes. Thick. Brushing and brutal like a creampie gangbang. Thick. Finished bitter on a spiced rye note. Decent enough.

66cl bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. February 2015.
BBD: have to check, but within best before date for sure.
In short: dry roasty ale.
Pours black with little tan head. Short head retention, poor lacing. Roasty, coffe, spicy nose. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is quite dry, moderate bitter, spicy, some viscous mouthfeel.

Bottle. The pour is black with a full head. The aroma is mild overall, but some chocolate and malts. The taste is a malt bomb. Good chocolate and rye flavors. Some hops in the back end and their bitterness is cut by the malt nicely. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours almost completely black with a very nice and fluffy tan head that sustains well and leaves great lacing. Aroma of rye bread, chocolate and a hint of soy sauce. Taste has an earthy and spicy rye flavor along with a good deal of roast and only a hint of chocolate. Also get black coffee and a bit of soy sauce. Finished dry with some roasty bitterness. Mouthfeel is semi silky with a medium/full body and moderate/high carbonation. Great looking beer but the soy in the aroma and taste turned me off somewhat. Also wanted more chocolate in the flavor and was a little over carbonated.
