16oz growler, shared. Pours black color, nice thin brown head. Some dots of lace. Awesome whiskey nose.. Big vanilla, marshmallow, dark chocolate in the aroma. Rich, gooey brownies. Beautiful texture. Velvety, silky smooth, as smooth as Silk Porter, but with a much more massive flavor. Light carbonation. Full, thick chewy body. Big bitter taste, some light but pleasant alcohol warmth. Fantastic, delicious stuff. Better than expected, even. KBS has nothing on this... Significantly better than the standard BA Boris, too, so much more complex. Dan H. took a taste... Coffee, bitter chocolate, smoke, he says, I see that. Super good. One of the best BA imperial stouts I’ve had.

Bottle at home, courtesy of a fuckhead. Thanks Aaron!! Pour is pitch black with a frothy tan head and good lacing. Big dark chocolate, coffee, toffee, raisins, prunes, caramel and somewhat nutty aroma. Taste is anise, black licorice, dark cocoa, toffee, caramel, earthy hops, and leather. Thick/syrupy mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Nice stout, but now my favorite of the series.
