3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thick, heavy looking beer, with little head. Dark roast dominates the aroma. Tastes just as it looks. Extremely strong, heavy, sticky, roast, sweet chocolate, and prominent alcohol. Very intense flavour. Very good, but unfortunately not a favourite as I was hoping.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Must be the 2012 version with a white cap.
Boozy and chocolaty on the aroma. Smooth, sweet.
Looks insane. Pours thick and black with a super dark head.
Taste is smooth and chocolaty finish is little aggressive but not too bad with the booziness.
Palate is great except the finish which is a little aggressive.
Overall a very nice imperial stout. Doesn’t have the acidity of others.

Aroma is complex barrel, medium body, low carbonation, and Taste is roasty, oak, whisky, oat malt, soy sauce, some herbal hops, some vanilla, and dryer finish. One of the best imperial stouts I have had.

Batch uno or deuce. Oxydized, papery choco, old fruit, changes often, vanila, oaky is mellow as the vanilla, odd pepper nose burn. Taste - old syrupy, caramelly choco, vanilla, light burn, need to drink veritas - fuck this.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle - Vintage 2009 - Chocolate and light whiskey notes. Jet black with a little brown head. Chocolate and vanilla with a bit of oak notes. Very mellow and well balanced, held up great to age. A bit of alcohol heat, that you can feel not taste. There is nothing wrong with this beer, but nothing to kick you in the nuts.
