Aged in bourbon whiskey barrels to add a wonderful complexity to our massive American Double Imperial Stout. This barrel aging imparts memorable buttery, vanilla-like, and savory whiskey character, making this one of our most complex beers we’ve ever brewed. Aroma is wood, roasted malt, sweetness, bourbon and some vanilla. Tastes a bit sweet, malty, woody and has some bourbon tones. Warming alcohol feeling and ends with a bitter roasted finish. Bomber bought through craftbeer.se. Pours reddish black with a fizzy dark mocha head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet and malty with roasted malts, caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, burnt cookies, dark roast coffee, coconut milk, chocolate, hay, charred wood, toasted coconut, hazelnuts and soil. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, dark roast coffee, charred wood, bitter, chocolate, toasted coconut, burnt hay, alcohol and soil. Mouthfeel is fat, viscous, round, slightly roasted astringent and full bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, charred wood, toasted coconut, bourbon, soil and hay. Crazy BA action. Vulgar yet tasty…

Butelka 66cl. USTA : prawie bez gazu, tłuste, gęste i klejące.

(Bottle) Pours black with a dark brown head. The aroma holds woodsy bourbon upfront with notes of vanilla, fudge, dill and cocoanut. Malt holds liquorice, dark chocolate and coffee (pretty standard but fat). Some resinous hops and brown sugar. The flavour is light to medium sweet, near heavily bitter and light acidic with notes of brutal roast, aggressive hops and firey bourbon. The mouthfeel is round, oily and numbing with soft carbonation. Salt liquorice, heavy roast, resinous hops and bourbon on the finish.

Flaske.

A great stout. Pours an inky black with very little head. Aromas are bourbon and vanilla... Then dried dried, chocolate, and lactose. Flavors are booze, vanilla, and strong toasty malt flavors. Excellent.
