Aged in bourbon whiskey barrels to add a wonderful complexity to our massive American Double Imperial Stout. This barrel aging imparts memorable buttery, vanilla-like, and savory whiskey character, making this one of our most complex beers we’ve ever brewed. Another testament to our hard work and dedication in bringing our customers the very best.

22oz bottle to 22oz ’snifter’. Thick and oily like typical hoppin frog stouts. Over the top malt sweetness. Oodles of roast and subtle whiskey. Coats the mouth and that tube that leads to your stomach. It’s got legs, and I’ve lost mine.

22oz bottle shared with Matt Capone for my 10,000 rating! Thanks! Poured a black color with a tan/brown head. Aromas went from wood to whiskey to wood. Also, vanilla, chocolate, brownies, caramel, and more chocolate. Alcohol content completely hidden. Here’s to the next 10k ...
