COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aged in bourbon whiskey barrels to add a wonderful complexity to our massive American Double Imperial Stout. This barrel aging imparts memorable buttery, vanilla-like, and savory whiskey character, making this one of our most complex beers we’ve ever brewed. Another testament to our hard work and dedication in bringing our customers the very best.

A great stout. Pours an inky black with very little head. Aromas are bourbon and vanilla... Then dried dried, chocolate, and lactose. Flavors are booze, vanilla, and strong toasty malt flavors. Excellent.

Draught. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, oats and bourbon. Taste is pretty much like the aroma - roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, oats, licorice, love and bourbon. Full creamy body and low carbonation. The aftertaste is quite roasted and has lots of bourbon in it. However, unlike most barrel aged beers it actually works quite well here. It feels very balanced. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. A pitch black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of bourbon, oats, roasted malt, and milk chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of dark chocolate, roasted malt, alcohol, bourbon, and wood, leading to a dry roasted finish.
