Bottle @ home, thanks to arminjewell. Pours a black appearance with a very dark brown head. The aroma is big and roasty, a little ash, very rich dark chocolate, light caramel, thick whiskey, and oatmeal. Full body. Very rich. Tons of dark chocolate, rich coconut, boozy whiskey flavor. A fair amount of oak, lots of booze. Drinks quite nice for a balls to the wall impy stout.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, thick black pour with dark tan head, aroma brought notes of big dark chocolate, whiskey, bourbon, oak and vanilla, some slight spice, touch of cocoa powder. Taste was a mix of cocoa, roast, coffee, nice bourbon into a bit of slight vanilla, sweet brown sugar, oak, finishing sweet.

Bottle, courtesy of "hannont". Colour...basic black with a thin tan head. Nose...chocolate infused molasses with notes of booze and crushed walnuts. Palate...slightly thin body feel but loads of dark chocolate and oaky goodness. There’s anise all around the palate and plenty of chocolate ganache and all of it makes for a fabulously sweet and costing finish.

Köpt på gh, Uppsala. Nästan inget skum. Inte så mycket rostade toner, mycket whisky i både doft och smak. En bra whiskylagrad imp.stout men inget som sticker ut.

Pours black like dirty motor oil with maroon glints at the edges and a dark brown head (seriously, the darkest head I’ve ever seen). Fine, a few mm, and moderate-fast to fade. Aroma is sap, cookie dough, sweet chocolate, vanilla, toffee, some coffee. Body is thick, heavy, medium-fine carbonation, medium-light burn, syrupy-oily. Flavor is cookie dough, butterscotch syrup, huge bourbon, vanilla, oak, brown sugar, dark roasted (burnt) coffee and toast. Overall, a top-of-the-line imperial stout; highlights are the aroma, which is amazing cookie dough, flavor is dark burnt and lots of bourbon barrel. Wow. One of the best I’ve had.
