Ah, the pressure of the 1st rating - lucky me. 22oz bottle - Pours clear pumpkin orange. nice aroma. Pumpkin is evident and there’s a light sweetness and a little spice - not too much in either category. The barrel is prevalent but not strong - this could be good or bad depending but I would take a little more personally. The body is thin and unfortunately this ends tasting a little watered down. Okay, but a bit disappointing especially for the $$. Somebody throw pumking in a barrel please.

Bomber from a PUB’R capo. Pours hazy orange with off-white head. Nose is caramel, pumpkin, oak, sweet potato. Tastes of huge oaky bourbon, some lighter pumpkin, caramel sweetness, finishes boozy.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Hazy orange color with beige head that goes away quickly. Aroma has nice pumpkin with spices but no evident barrel character. But you can get it on the taste along with spices. Quite bitter overall, doesn’t go that well with the spices. Not bad but a bit unbalanced.

22oz bottle - drank this right before I took the kids out trick or treating. Poured an amber color with an averaged sized head. Pumkin, whiskey and pumpkin spices. I wish the spices were more muted by the barrel aging, but not the case - but for what it is, was enjoyable.

Bottle. The pour is lighter than I thought, a mild orange. The aroma is sourish with whisky tones. The taste has whiskey up front and mild pumpkin. Good seasonal beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured into a snifter. 3.0 A: Murky orange-tinted brown color. One finger of frothy beige head. Retention is lacking, but a short ring of lacing is left. 3.5 S: Pumpkin spiciness is most noticeable. It’s a mix of all the usual suspects - allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, maybe some clove, but nothing stand out among them. A light leathery bourbon component complements the pumpkin well. Caramel maltiness from the base with a faint toastiness. It’s good, but it could use some more strength. 3.75 T: Taste is pretty much like the nose. Pumpkin spice, pumpkin, leathery bourbon, mild warming booziness, caramel malt. 3.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Light creaminess. Could use more body, but overall it’s okay. 3.5 D: Good pumpkin beer, just not a great one. I like big spices, deep rich maltiness, and plenty of body. This doesn’t have any of those, but everything else is done well. ★ 907 characters DavoleBomb, Aug 31, 2013

One of the better pumpkin beers, but it’s still not my thing. To much spices, not enough beer,
