Bottle shared at Bruce’s, London - big thanks to the man of the hour, Jack. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy, off-white head. Lots of sweet malts in the nose, herbs, pumpkins, a bit of nutmeg. Medium sweet flavor, some lightly dry pumpkin, mild tang, spices. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Mild warmth to finish, some moderate spices, tangy pumpkin. Pretty solid pumpkin beer overall.

Bottle... Pours clear and dirty-orange with no head. The aroma offers plenty of winter spices and ethanol. Full-bodied with restrained carbonation. The flavor is big time boozy and fairly sweet. Winter spices in both the flavor and red-hot finish. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian!

650ml bottle served in a Trappist glass. Pours a very flat translucent amber colour. Aroma is heavy spices, toffee and bourbon. Mouthfeel is just right for the luxurious taste and complements the feel of the beer. Taste is sweet toffee apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, toffee, caramel and a very heavy (but not overpowering) bourbon presence. Very different to the Jolly Pumpkin offering and equally brilliant in it’s own way.

Bottle. Pours a nice cloudy deep amber with very characteristic barrel non-excisting head. Kind of thick. Aroma is packed with bourbon vanilla and some cinnamon. Taste is spicy candy vanilla. And loats of vanilla. Sweet pumpkin with clove and cinnamon. Some subtle berries and malty caramel. Oily creamy body. Some bourbon booze in finish to break the sweetness. Do catch some dry wood too.

Bottle. Somewhat cloudy and quite pretty dark red colour with no head. Aroma is jam packed with a sweet, oaky and sticky vanilla, textured around a spicy base of clove and cinnamon. Taste is more complex with a malty sweetness coupled with a more spicy pumpkin-like oily sweetness. Loads more complexity in the taste than in the aroma. Also tons of oak and loads of dry wood and vanilla. Full body with a nice boozy warmth in the finish.

Pours rich pumpkin in color with thin whispy head. Aroma is lots of pumpkin, some spice and a fair amount of whiskey. Taste follows with good pumpkin taste. It is like Pumpking on steroids. Similar to Rumkin, but not as cloying sweet or hot.

Thanks kathouse for this beauty. A bit flat.. Possibly from the journey.. But still an amazing beverage. Pours a muddy apple cider. Wonderful aromas of pumpkin, butterscotch, vanilla, and booze. Cinnamon too. Flavors are sweet vanilla and cinnamon... Pumpkin and quite a bit of booze. Bordering on harsh. I would love to try the non barrel aged version. Still.. This is magic in a bottle.

Bomber, from veterans liquor COS. Very complex aroma of spices, including clove, allspice, cinnamon and coriander. Also has notes of pumpkin, vanilla and bourbon. Pours amber-orange with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. All of the aforementioned spices start out the flavor profile with notes of pumpkin. Finishes very smooth with notes of vanilla, bourbon and a bit of booze. Not a lot of pumpkin flavors as it gets overpowered by the bourbon, but still very enjoyable.

Pours a clear orange with no head. Aroma of pumpkin spices and vanilla and bourbon. Taste is like a pumpkin pie spiced bourbon. Low carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Tough to drink.
