Commercial Description:
Our IPA and Stout converge for a really great flavor combination to create a rich and robust black & tan. The assertive hoppy character of our Hoppin to Heaven IPA is perfectly complimented by the intense deep roasted flavor of our BORIS Oatmeal Imperial Stout. Two great tastes that taste even better together.

22oz bomber. Pours stout dark but not thick. Settles quickly with a rich head. Flavor and aroma is evidently hoppy with a slight bitterness and light sweetness from the dark malts. Very complex! I was curious about this combination and pleasantly surprised.

Bottle, 22oz. It pours a really dark brown body producing a medium-sized tan head. Roasted nice with chocolate and coffee, but I think it overpowers the IPA imprint too much. Still really nice though. Chocolate, roasted malts, some coffee and a nice, citrusy bitterness in the mouth, full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Quite dry. Bitter finish, mostly of the hoppy bitterness type. A bit more on the citrusy side in the aroma and flavor, and this would be world class. 090724

Thanks St Mothafuckin Fun! Appearance: Pours midnight brown with a tan ring at the top and a few swirls. Aroma: A nice mix roast, coffee, chocolate, and even a little bit of minty herbal hops. Taste: Chocolatey roast, bitter coffee. Finishes with chocolate and dark fruits. Mouthfeel: Perfectly carbonated, and slightly creamy. Overall: A really great beer. Nice amounts of roast, and a moderate level of hoping. The beer isn’t too boozy, which is fine by me.

Pours dark brown with fluffy tan head. Rather roasted chocolate aromas, with a hint of piney hops. Very nice blend of hops and chocolate/coffee. Bubbly carbonation on the tongue. Great blend of brews here. Would drink again.

Bottled. Aroma has roast, chocolate and grapefruit hops. Interesting. Black coloured beer with a beige, lasting head. The taste is sweet, bitter, has roasted malts, grapefruits, chocolate. Medium bodied. Nice beer.

Pours a jet black with a slowly forming dark tan head. Smell is not really present or Ive had too much to drink already. Taste is quite good of hops and chocolate. Has a funky bitter chalky finish I cant quite shake. Lots of dark fruit in the flavor as well. Not bad but not something Id go out of my way for.
