Commercial Description:
Our IPA and Stout converge for a really great flavor combination to create a rich and robust black & tan. The assertive hoppy character of our Hoppin to Heaven IPA is perfectly complimented by the intense deep roasted flavor of our BORIS Oatmeal Imperial Stout. Two great tastes that taste even better together.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Sliffy. Completely opaque black with a creamy, beige head. Lightly tart, fruity nose. Medium body, burned but also sweetish malt, with this mellow fruitiness reappearing before a rather bitter finish - bitter from both hops and malts. 070907

Bottled. Really black, rocky head. Licorice, grapefruit and chocolate upfront. Medium sweet, aromatic and balanced. Solid bodied and well balanced with a lovely combo of grapefuit and licorice - hops and roastiness. Finishes with long pleasant bitterness. A winner!
