Sep 9, 2007 Blind tasting at sk8vikings porter / stout tasting, beer no 9. Pours black/brown with a lacing brown head. Very fruity aroma with an underlying roasted malt, slight coffee aroma. Light fruity malt flavour. Medium bodied. Nice bitter finish. Fresh.

Dec 20, 2008 <i>Bottled. </i> Really black, rocky head. Licorice, grapefruit and chocolate upfront. Medium sweet, aromatic and balanced. Solid bodied and well balanced with a lovely combo of grapefuit and licorice - hops and roastiness.
Finishes with long pleasant bitterness. A winner!
