COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA and Stout converge for a really great flavor combination to create a rich and robust black & tan. The assertive hoppy character of our Hoppin to Heaven IPA is perfectly complimented by the intense deep roasted flavor of our BORIS Oatmeal Imperial Stout. Two great tastes that taste even better together.

Black with hoppy rasted malt aroma. Smooth with strong hop profile but not enough to make the stout go unnoticed. Medium bodied. The best black and tan I’ve had.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. Roasted, chocolate malts, resin, citrus, pine hops. Lingering bitterness, not overwhelming. Nice tasty beer.

650ml bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Almost black colored beer with a slight red glow coming through when held into the light. Huge brown head that diminishes pretty quickly. Smell malts, some roastyness, hops. Taste malts, hops, bitter, roastyness. Medium to full body, medium carbonation.

Bottle thx to benzai. Black colour with some ruby redness shining through, light brown to brown head. Smells iron, roasty, chocolate. Tastes chocolate, roasty, malts, bitter, iron. I just can?t find the 67% ipa in this one. Full body, lovely amount of carbo.

MotherBrother (317) - Aalborg, DENMARK - MAY 20, 2012
Bottle @ Haand festival. Pour black, with a brown hue, and a small off-white head. Aroma of oatmeal, licorice, coffee, pine and hoppy, with slight chocolate. Taste sweet upfront, with a nice and hoppy bitter aftertaste. Suits this beer very well. Medium - semi-full body, with an average carb.

Bottle. Aroma has almost bubblegum sweetness. But the stout is very dominant and the IPA is harder to find. Taste is burnt, chocolate and some alcohol. The hops chip in in the aftertaste but the alcohol is very dominant. Finish is sweet at first but slowly turns more dry. The extremes are maybe a bit too much, but overall not a bad beer.

Bottle. Black beer with a beige/brown head. Hoppy aroma, roasted malt, chocolate, fruity notes, some milk and vanilla. Hoppy flavor, metallic, roasted, milky, grassy notes, chocolate, vanilla, some fruits. These two beers combine quite well, but maybe à blended beer like this loses some of the character.

Molt fosca amb una espuma cremosa, aroma a malt dolç amb una mica de cafè que mica en mica evoluciona mostrant l’aroma del llúpol. En boca crema de cafè torrat amb un interessant sabor a llúpol. Interessant cervesa. Tastada al Rosses i Torrades - celler de cervesa.
