22oz bottle from fear025, thanks! Pours thick and black with a medium sized, frothy, tan head. Aroma of bakers chocolate, caramel, dark roasted coffee, toast and alcohol. Flavor is rich bitter-sweet chocolate, bitter black roasted malt, coffee and some alcohol warming. Very full body with a thick, lush mouth feel. Very similar to the regular version, maybe just a bit more over the top. Excellent beer.

Shared 0.65 L bottle. Pours a sinfully black body, topped by a thin light brown lace. Aroma is complex and balanced. Soft and gently sweet dark malts, reminiscent of mild coffee, cocoa, creamed caramel and black pepper. Silky mouthfeel. Near full-bodied. Coffee and cocoa in the flavor as well, added by fine tones of dark dried fruits, vanilla and a subtle spicy/earthy bitterness. A treat.

22oz bottle, shared with my sister. Oqaque, thick pitch-black color. Good brown head, that fades to minimal. Decent spray of dots of lace. Very nice dark cocoa aroma, so rich and thick. Awesome big chewy body, very light crisp carbonation. Dry finish. Nice bitter taste, light sweet. Great oaty aroma. Crisper malts, somehow, too. Easy to drink, very tasty. Awesome imperial stout.
