Bottle, pours black with tan head. All the good things I expect from an oatmeal stout plus an unusual smoothness for a 60ibu beer. Chocolate, vanilla, oak and a nice roasted taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to glass. Pours a deep brown to black color with a medium brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, burnt coffee, touch of cocoa. Flavor has a big burnt roasted malts bitterness. Huge mouthfeel, lingering roasted malts with some chocolate sweetness. Very tasty.

Black as the night with a thich beige head. Nice lacing. Powerful aroma. Espresso, chocolate and licorice. Full body. Balanced sweetness vs bitterness. Soft carbonation. A bit oily. Heavu stuff this one. Espresso, toffee, licorice, roasted and chocolate. Power beer. Nothing I can drink a lot of. Nice evening sipper.

Strong/medium aroma with licorice, vanilla and some malts. Pitch black with medium beige head. Strong taste with licorice, vanilla and cocoa, which is the distinctive part of this beer. Some malts can be tasted also. Very smooth and balanced. Wide taste spectrum and long aftertaste with licorice, malts and some hops. Full body wit soft carbonation. Overall one of my favorite Imperial Stouts: top-notch performer with the twist.

Def my style of stout. I believe the oats give this beer its smoothness. This one pours very dark with a nice light color head. Great feel and smoothness. This one goes down easy. Taste the chocolate and roasted oat Malts. Enjoy my friends.

Bottle at Kaisla, Helsinki. Pours pitch black with a little brownish head, an oily impression. The aroma has notes of whisky and vanilla; it also features strong roasty maltiness with coffee and chocolate - very rich. Taste is initially medium sweet, later bending gracefully toward a bitter, hoppy finish that sets this version apart from the barrel aged one. Intense maltiness dominates, but the balance is well kept as also hoppy notes are around. The palate is full-bodied, velvety smooth and flat in carbonation. Brilliant.
