Aroma of oatmeal, raisin and alcohol. Little or no head on this one. Mouthfeel is heavy, thick. Taste of oatmeal and dark fruit. Warming alcohol presence in a good way. Very good....... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle pour split at a tasting event. Pours jet black with a fading brown head. Boozy roasted malt, cookie like aroma. Super graham cracker like flavor, and super smooth. Slightly off putting aroma, but the beer tasted amazing. Thick body, and a ton of flavor. Solid beer. Loved it.

On tap @ Brewberry bar, Paris - France. Color: black beer with no carbonation and no foam. Smell: coffee domination with alcohol notes and roasted malt. High brown sugar concentration. Taste: sweet taste with caramel and high alcohol notes. Roasted malt, licorice, sweet sensation on mouth. Amazing beer ! Aftertaste: alcohol domination with coffee and brown sugar. Really nice beer a must to try.

Ar: deep roasted, chocolate, coffee, licorice, vanilla, alcohol, molasses, insanely rich and rewarding. Deep black colour, oily rich, small Brown colour. Sweet, soft bite for the style, salty, luscious, complex and just great. Oily fat feel, soft carbonation, luscious, warming luxurious finish. Great!

Ravenblack with brownish yellow foam, smells of campfires, liquorice, coffee and some cream. Overpowering taste with a lot of liquorice, soy, tar and coal. The alcohol is a bit obnoxious, and could be more balanced - this is the only thing I don’t like about this.

22 oz bottle shared by my brother Black95tt. This was one hell of a russian oatmeal imperial stout. Apparently the brewer of this beer was the corporate brewer for Thirsty Dog, and had a hand in Siberian Night. And this stuff shows it!! This beer was really good. Poured as thick and black as possible. Only things darker or thicker have been dark lord or expedition. It had a nice roasted bitter aroma, and a really thick full mouth feel prolly from the oat contributions. This is a hell of a beer. Highly recommended!

Very dark, almoust black, engine oil with just a little head that’s on the top like golden-brown whipped cream.

Nose: Coffee, toffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, mocha, leather, kakao and dark syrup. Almoust a little sour nose.

Taste: Wow! This is f-ing awesome! Sweet coffee, oatmeal, brownies, boubon , vanilla, red berries and dried fruit.

Mouth: Large complex body with smooth, silky taste. Very soft carbonation.

This is almoust a perfect stout. I’m glad I bought 7 bottles (six to cellar).

On tap at Chmielarnia, Warsaw. Appearance almost black with brown, creamy head. Aroma: vanilla, some cocoa, dark chocolate. Texture very smooth. Taste a bit on a sweet side. Like a fantastic ballanced desert. Full bodied, creamy, chocolaty, again vanilla. One of the best Imperial Stouts I’ve had.
