22oz Bottle. Pours oil black, with a mahogany fringe and thin rim in chocolate dust. Viscous. Aroma is strong and flowing with mounds of roasted coffee, chocolate nibs, barbeque char and soy. Quite volatile. Flavor is equally impressive. A fresh, bright big bodied flavor. Swaying from chocolate to coffee bean and back to black tea dust. Creamy and dense. It doesn’t come across as particularly sweet despite its finishing gravity. Hops make a glowing appearance in the back end as a fresh bouquet of autumn harvest. All around and for all reason a solid, high level Imperial Stout. Drinkability maintains in light of the alcohol and sugars. Very nice. Thanks Sean!

If there ever was a beer that would kick your ass, this wold be it. Pours jet black with a big brown head. Huge aroma of coffee and chocolate. Immense chocolate flavor with strong roasted malts and coffee which is not overpowering. Body is extremely balanced. Alcohol is very well hidden.

Bottle. High creamy and long lasting dark brown head. Almost an understatement to describe it as pitch black. Prettty hoppy coffee chocolate aroma. Flavor though relatively mild and round coffee chocolate but no sigh of cream or alcohol. Very well balanced. High carbonation and a long bitter aftertaste.

bottle (thanks Tim & Suzanne!) - pours a thick, oily black. Aromas of coffee, dark dried berries and chocolate. Rich, sweet full mouthfeel - nice balance of sweet malts, body and bitterness. Crisp and big on flavor. A very (VERY) good imperial stout. For once, I’m jealous of you luck folks who live in Ohio!

Thanks to BigErn for this bottle. Super dark color with little dark foam. Dark roasty, chocolate nose with nuts and coffee as well. Flavor is big and creamy with great chocolate, oatmeal and coffee....just fabulous. Really wonderful beer. Thanks for this one!
