Pours black with small tan head and good lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate and plum with some booziness. Taste of bitter chocolate with dark fruit and roastiness mid palate. A nuttiness and some coffee in finish. Medium/full body with moderate carbonation and semi dry finish. Good stout. ---Jeremy H

Opaque pitch black color, medium to full sized brown head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, dark malts, some roastyness, coffee and dark chocolate. Tastes about the same: malts, dark malts, roastyness, some alcohol, chocolate quite heavily. Medium to full body and carbonation.

Bottle with Martin ahead of BOX’s Brazilian Birthday Bonanza. I remember drinking one of these with Benh some time ago also. Pure tidy so it is. Pours oily Black with an inspiring Brown head. Aroma is boozy chocolate and roasty coffee. Rich flavour with a weighty, robust body. Chocolatey warmth. It’s a real beaut. Drank this one immediately after the Bourbon County Stout. I reckon BCS pips it. Only just though...

Cerveza negra, muy negra. Me huele a tabaco. Sabor muy complejo, miel de caña, toffee, especias, hierbas, ron, café. Una maravilla. La botella perfecta para compartir entre dos.
